For Seven years, The TR Group has brought together a diverse, grass-roots group of New York political activists united to impelment Republican messages of individual rights, limited government, and responsible social progress. After merging with the Gramercy Park Republican Club and the Community Republican Club of Greenwich Village, we became an even stronger organization. We played key roles in state and local campaigns, sponsored forums, and nurtured political activists and candidates. We provided critical research, infrastructure, and ground troops for Manhattan races.
For five years, we maintained a turn-key campaign office that provided campaigns and other organizations with tables, chairs, computers, high-capicity printers, letter folders, envelope sealers, and other tools necessary to run a successful campaign. One congressional, three state senate, one assembly, and four city council campaigns ran from this office. For five years we published a Handbook of Electioneering - a guide to running Republican camapigns in Manhattan. Through a direct mail program we identified new Republicans to serve on the New York Republican County Committee and work as Republican poll inspectors. We registered hundreds of new Republican voters most years.
The Executive Committee of The TR Group has included past candidates, political consultants, Republican National Convention Delegates, and officers in the New York Republican County Committee and New York Republican State Committee. The members of The TR Group Executive Committee will continue to bolster the Republican cause through these capacities.
