Republicans Unite to Build Local Party Infrastructure

The crowd for Gramercy Park Republican Club/The TR Group's building local party infrastructure forum filled the room to near overflow capacity. Former Pataki Campaign Manager Robert H. Ryan moderated the forum.
Mr. Ryan discussed the importance of unity in the Republican Party if the party is to see any gains at elections. He proposed a diversity of ideas covering such topics as community meetings and advertising campaigns.
Election Law Specialist Lawrence Mandelker explained New York State's complicated Ballot Access Laws, and he made recommendations on how to handle the petitioning process to get candidates on the ballot.
New York County Conservative Party Chair Tiffany Berns spoke about how her party is organized.
Almost everyone left with an increased understanding of what needs to be done to strengthen the Republican Party in Manhattan.

Mark Your Calendars

On April Fools Day, Gramercy Park Republican Club/The TR Group will have a wild night of music by bands including DropDeadGorgeous, a Cyber Glam band whose lead singer, Nathaniel Thorne is a TR Group Executive. This will be no ordinary Republican event!

National Attention for The TR Group's Communications Director

The TR Group's Communications Director, Evan Coyne Maloney, videotaped interviews with people attending the February 15th war protest. In the resulting videotape, the protesters revealed themselves to be without a clue.
Evan posted this video on his website, www.brain-terminal.com. Fox News ran Evan's video on Brit Hume's show. The next day, Rush Limbaugh aired the audio portion of Evan's video, and later Rush said on air that he is considering having Evan work for "The Limbaugh Letter"!
