Like many New Yorkers, Stephen M. Evans III was not born here. Fourteen years ago, Stephen moved to New York City from his hometown of Dallas.
While he has always had a passing interest in politics, Stephen's primary interest has been movies. Taking a minimum-wage job as the Doorman of a Dallas movie theatre, Stephen M. Evans III quickly rose to being the Manager of some of the highest-grossing movie theatres in the nation.
As he became increasingly involved with the community, Stephen M. Evans III felt compelled to run for City Council in 2003. Since then he has worked as a consultant to other candidates.
